Boardman Real Estate
Boardman was founded in the late 1780’s by Elijah Boardman, and is located just south of Youngstown. Early on, the city was known as an agricultural community, but due to its convenient location, Boardman Township saw a spike in development by the early 1900’s, ultimately establishing the highly active suburban area known today.
Boardman’s population, according to the 2010 census, is 35,376, and the area offers an endless amount of retail, recreation, and restaurant options. One of the city’s most popular attractions is Mill Creek Park, which includes a 36-hole golf course.
Boardman’s median home value is $98,700.00, and the school system is comprised of four elementary schools, an intermediate school, a junior high school, and a high school: West Boulevard Elementary, Stadium Drive Elementary, Robinwood Lane Elementary, Market Street Elementary, Center Intermediate, Glenwood Junior High, and Boardman High.
